Our Journey

The story of Sampark Foundation began with three people: Vineet Nayar, his wife Anupama Nayar, a special educationist, and his mother Janak Nayar, a lifelong teacher and the true inspiration behind the mission.

In 2012, Sampark Foundation was launched with a simple but powerful vision to unlock the potential of underserved children in India, with a special focus on primary education and girl education.

Today, what started as a mission of three has evolved into a vibrant, innovative, technology-enabled, outcome-driven organization, dedicated to transforming education at scale across India.

Recognizing the limitations in rural government schools, the Foundation invested in enhancing teaching skills and strengthening classroom resources, resulting in measurable improvements in student learning outcomes.

Faced with an enormous challenge of scale and complexity, the founders anchored their approach in two core drivers: Technology and Frugal Innovation. These enabled cost-effective solutions, rapid scalability, and wide geographical coverage while ensuring high-quality pedagogy and engaging learning aids.
